Day of Enlistment

Hi everyone, my feelings and thoughts currently feels like its gonna explode....for a while, its fine being positive....then a while later, it starts to get deeper and deeper into the negativity aspect. This feeling sucks, I've never had such sort of a feeling before and its just simply suffering I would say.

Surprisingly I managed to zonk off immediately once I crawled onto my bed but the point whereby my alarm rang, I realised that I slept for only 4 hours... Hopefully I won't feel lethargic in camp throughout the day.

Realised that this is reality and everyone has to face it be it who or where you are.

Anyway, I can't think of anymore to say further and so I'm gonna leave now and I'll post again once I'm out. Pray and bless me :)

Pre-enlistment Preview

This is my long-awaited and last post before my enlistment till I get out upon 2 weeks of confinement at Kranji Camp II.

I remembered the day whereby I received the letter from MINDEF and calculated roughly about 60 over days prior to my enlistment. I panicked and started to train up my physique and hoping that I could pass my NAPFA so as to skip the 8 weeks of additional fitness training and so prolong my free time in civilisation. I trained really hard and brother Lionel helped so much as well. Thank you bro for the support and effort!

Oh well, I failed the tests and so am enlisting on the actual day as planned. Kinda sad and depressed these few days but it's already final whereby I've got to face the music. There are many close friends whom shared their experiences and advices, I really do appreciate them and hope I will put them into good use.

Recently, I had been kinda busy getting prepared for my enlistment which is tomorrow. Had to get like plenty of stuff like insect repellent, toiletries, ample number of army clothes and also making a new spectacle at the optician. Have been also drinking alot with my friends and my sister Amanda had also just gotten back from Melbourne. Trying to be as positive as ever towards what I will be facing, difficult but I'm sure I'll do fine.

I realised that I've yet to accomplish or do plenty of things such as like meeting up with my secondary school friends, my ACSi friends and also my other friends. I'm really sorry guys, really could have made the best effort even when I was kinda busy. I will see you guys soon.

Really do appreciate the comfort and motivation I get from my family and friends, its one of the most important factors in life whereby one is going through a difficult phase in their life but yet they'll definitely tide through with the help of their close ones. A big thank you and hug to all :)

Yesterday, I shaved my head at a Malay barber at Siglap Centre... was kinda like awkward at first with Nav watching and all, then towards the end, I felt that I actually do look fine with the least amount of hair on my head despite the fact that its obviously better with my usual hairdo. My current thoughts now knowing that I will be heading into my 2 years of service in camp starting from tomorrow is that, I'm still jittery and sour about it but will try my utmost best to do myself proud and for those people around me too.

By the way, I've gotten a lousy NOKIA phone which I'll be using another number, I will not reveal the number due to privacy reasons.... but if you need to contact me, you can leave a message on my current cell number and I'll get back to you once I'm home after my 2 weeks of confinement and the subsequent weekends when I'm out alright.

It's been a week since I updated my blog...

I've stopped working for the time being, reason being that I wanna concentrate for my last Napfa this Wednesday. I've been training everyday without fail even though I've just got well from a week having like random fevers, coughs and body aches.

Today will be the last day for me to train up for this Wednesday and tomorrow it'll be a day of rest and some pampering, will be doing Sports Massage at Laguna to relief my sore muscles and aching joints.

Still kinda feeling sore from the post-Genting back to reality kind of life... Really miss that carefree number of days whereby whatever issues back in Singapore weren't in my head...that sort of feeling and having a clear mind was fantastic. Oh well, will look forward upon another trip which might not happen anytime soon unless I pass my Napfa and have more time to plan another trip with my close pals.

There's like so much worries in my mind regarding about the army, I really can't help it, I can't clear my mind, had been brooding about it ever since I'd gotten my letter. But at least I have a brother and close friends to advice me... but still, they've been through it but I've not, so I really don't know what I'd expect 100% fully.

Enough about my rantings, the past few days was just basically resting at home and heading for my exercise in the evening. Had Teppanyaki at Russell's place for like a pre-birthday gathering on Friday night. The food was great but once again, I had forgotten to take some pictures... But I do have the ones taken when the cake was brought out. Will post them another time yea.

Saturday night was an enjoyable hang-out with my friends at Nabins, I've not seen them for like close to a year and reminiscing and reliving those periods when we were hanging out was simply fun and enticing...Hope to see you guys real soon again although I can't get over the idea that I'm hanging out with friends whom are younger than me but oh well haha..

Anyway, gotta rest and will do my last regime later in the evening, please give me all your blessings and luck as I really do need it on Wednesday, thanks!

Back from Genting and its rather quite depressing knowing that all fun has ended and reality is where we're back to. This trip was really enjoyable and I'm not sure when there's another trip again.

This is one of the highlight of the trip, with Nav's Yoga pants and our hoodies, we headed to get Macdonalds after our party at around 6 in the morning

Luckily we got upgraded and had the best seats and on-board entertainment

This trip made me realised the meaning of friendship, coherence amongst us and our close ones such as friends, family or whomever it may be. I miss the trip so much, the fun and joy we had was unexplainable and beyond words that could describe. Stepping back onto Singapore grounds told me that I'm back into reality and wonderful things don't last long and will occur once in a while only. Hope all will be well in the future and will look forward to a next trip together soon or in the near future.

Guys and bro, thank you for making this trip happen, remember the anticipation and excitement before all had happened? Now it's over and it'll just be great memories at the back of our head and deep in our heart. You guys are great company and I really did enjoy this trip so so so so much :)

The day has come! The flickering lights and cold mist....funny accents from people and quirky dressings too.... Its the day that Naveej, Vicnces, Lionel and myself will be heading up to the alps and leave our land of misery for a short escapade. Sounds very exciting and mind-wrecking isn't it? It is in fact...

The only problem I'm encountering now is that, I fell sick yesterday...disastrous you can say but I will be BETTER! Yesterday at work, I felt uneasy and nauseous.... My body was like aching and kinda felt feverish.
Headed back home and I rested, took my temperature and it was like 38++, I was in shock, quickly popped 2 paracetamols and slept. Was so afraid and felt shitty as today I should be taking my NAPFA and leaving for Genting in the night... Had no choice but to forgo NAPFA but recuperating at home now for tonight. Oh well, I feel much better already so as you know so Genting is still like waitinggggggggg!!!!!

Having said all these, I've yet to complete my packing and so I shall do it right now. I will share once I get back from Genting, be assured about that...

The much anticipated Genting Trip is approaching soon. Have been thinking about it like for 2 months. Yes I know that I've always been mentioning about it, but guess what? This is my fucking blog and so just read it as I can say and repeat as many things as I deliberately want to. Hehe! Hopefully it will be cold, chilly cold I mean!! Vicnes, Naveej and Lionel....they've been talking about this trip without fail when we meet up every now and then.... and now, its finally approaching and we're like so KAN-CHIONG about it.

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all noble women who deserves it out there! A great thank you for the birthday wishes although its like over but really do appreciate it anyway.

Gotta really train damn badly for my NAPFA which is on this Wednesday, my last 3 trials... It's also a day whereby I will be departing for Malaysia. If I pass it, it'll be like double happiness for me! Run run run, pull pull pull, jump jump jump, sprint sprint sprint, bend bend bend.... walao! Haven't done so for like the past year and also even seldom do them in Secondary school like that frequently as of these days.

I'm sick of my clothes as I'm putting on weight at wrong parts of my body and makes me feeling depressed looking at myself in the mirror with my clothes on which I used to have confidence donning them in the past. Hiyah! Hopefully National Service will give me a perfect stature and physique...

While I'm doing this post, the thought of Genting just keeps on running through my mind... damn excited! Ahhhhhhhhhh! Am going berserk already! At times I can't get a hold of myself... Sounds insane I know but what to do, I'm easily thrilled about such stuff.

It will be a hectic day for me on Wednesday though, like rushing in the morning to get to Toa Payoh Stadium, then head home to get ready for work, thereafter dinner and then head straight to the bus terminal....Fuck! I'm screwed! May consider taking a day off from work on that day so I can have like an ample amount of rest before my escapade begins. It'll be tiring if I begin the schedule above mentioned, reach Genting in the wee hours, laze and wait for my check-in, then head to the Theme Park upon Lionel's request as its a Thursday and will be less crowded... I might just zonk off on the rides no matter how spine-chilling it may be... Oh well, take a day off that is...wanna enjoy my first day and not fucking screw up my body system and clock!

Yesterday was kinda boring.... had a Chinese Woman Association (CWA) event at Flower Diamond. All the 'Tai Tais' were like looking around the jewellery and clinging and clanging their glasses of Champagne with their Birkins lying over everywhere and strutting around with their sky-scraper high stilettos..saying stuff like HI! LONG TIME NO SEE! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN! MUACK MUACK ON ONE ANOTHER'S CHEEKS...what a scene haha..

Headed back home after 9 hours of work, went for my exercise regime and getting prepared for next Wednesday. Next Wednesday means that its my NAPFA trial and I wanna pass it badly, next is that I'm leaving for 'Las Vegas' not in the desert but up in the mountain at night. I'm really excited about it and had been anticipating for like 2 months at least.

Now I'm 19 and gotta be more sensible and responsible in a sense that I can't do what I used to do childishly when I was 18 then. Can anyone recommend me any institutes for like a good INTERIOR Designing course. I wanna be futuristic and love to visualise things. The problem is that I lack any experience, knowledge and a portfolio haha!

I gotta head back to work alright..

Night review

My birthday on Saturday was good. Prawn noodles with a rich soup base is irresistible especially when tons of prawn heads were used to make the broth. Yummy but forgotten to snap a picture of it. Nevermind, 24 bottles of Hoegaarden and 24 cans of Tiger. Plenty of drinks and none complained of the 'sufficient' amount of drinks but yet it wasn't enough to get us high though, 2 bottles of Macallan at the end did us proud. Hope everyone had an enjoyable time and thanks for spending my 19th with me.

Once again, thank you to those who came and commemorated such an special day for me and those whom did not reply me or come, nevermind as seriously, I'm only 19 so fuck it.

On the next day, I had my favourite Korean food at Amara Hotel. The best I can say in Singapore. The barbecued beef, cold dishes, kim chi, hot&spicy soup, Korean pancakes are just simply marvellous. The colours of whats on the table were vibrant too!

My cousin slept over at my place for the night and then we headed to Pulau Ubin on the following morning to have like seafood. The overall experience was nice, like a mini escapade I would say. Having to cross the water for like 10 minutes and end up on an island without tall buildings, just imagine how it feels.

It was a chill-out day indeed. Headed to the gym thereafter as it was raining, did my run and weight-lifting, satisfying but tiring of course. Dined at 5 Star Chicken Rice for dinner, yummy but kinda expensive though but worth the money....then fed myself to mosquitoes at Laguna Golf & Country Club for drinks by the outdoor seating facing the golf green.

A long post but full of pictures to attract your eyes. Good enough for you guys? I'm sure there's more to come as next Wednesday is Gentinggggg! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Can't take it, getting nearer and getting closer!!! Going mad about it already.

19th Birthday 2011

A huge hug and a big thank you to all whom wished me a Happy Birthday via Facebook, sms, Whatsapp and so on. Really do appreciate it alot and hope that when time comes for your birthday, you'll have the same mass wishes too.

I'm kinda feeling rejuvenated although I just had like 6 hours of sleep. Not ample enough but it could be the thought of my birthday which I've been anticipating since who knows when.

Was hanging out at Lagoon View last night when I received many calls from friends. Even of those whom I thought might have been gone or lost. We used to have conflicts but yet you guys still have the heart to call me and wish me. I really do appreciate it and I swear it was a really nice feeling. Till now its kinda shocking though but the hatred or whatsoever in me built up has finally been expelled out of my mind.

Tonight would basically be like home-cooked Prawn Noodles for dinner at my place then thereafter would be Zouk (Trance night starring Markus Schulz).

Feels kinda weird though as it seemed that I had just celebrated my 18th Birthday and having bad times lurking and lingering around me. Oh well, I definitely dare to say that this year was kinda like better but its just gonna hit the 2nd quarter of the year and so can't foresee whats ahead for me especially with regards pertaining about my enlistment in the Army.

Today is the day whereby my dad's seed fusing with my mom's egg and then being popped out after 9 months of captivity. I love my parents for giving me this life but of course at times I will definitely feel fucked up and all and blame them or whatsoever, but whose kid doesn't??

Anyway it's time to repeat again that Genting is approaching in less than 2 weeks! This is to -----> Lionel, Nav and Vicnesh! It may not seem like a big of a deal to head to Genting but come on seriously, its good for me!

Anyway I will get tons of pictures of tonight and will post them yea.

Something about honesty

Confucius defined several levels of Honesty. Starting from shallow and ending with deep, the levels are as follows:
Li, wanting to appear truthful for your own personal gain.
Yi, doing what is right on the basis of how you would like to be treated in return.
Ren, based on the most sincere form of empathy toward all others that are different from you in age, gender, culture, experience, family, etc.

Just a random thought of it, Confucius is really mad with his way of thinking and all but he's cool..cool...cool.

Anyway, it was an exhausting day at work, really tired and felt queasy in my stomach the entire day, could be that was drinking 4 days in a row since Thursday.

Exercised, pull-ups, running, crunches..... all set for trying out my NAPFA.

Genting in close to 2&1/2 weeks time. So excited and had been in my mind ever since my friends and myself were discussing about it, even way before booking it. Cold weather, the theme park, SAFARI club, great food and most importantly great company. Sounds like I've already went there but I know what to expect as I've been there countless number of times.

Just had my dinner like 45 minutes ago, I saw a plate of like charred meat with dried chillies. I tried the dish and felt that it tasted funny and gamy. Didn't bother and so swallowed. Then when I was picking for another piece, I realised something weird about it and so I asked my domestic helper what was it, guess what? I just ate a fucking RABBIT! My mom is to be blamed, how can you eat such cute and furry stuff even if it's a hare instead of any other pet rabbits! Arghhh! Feeling so sinful, I know its nothing as what we normally eat too give other people the same feeling of disgust when they don't have the same diet as us. Anyway, I'm sorry bunny! I just ate your leg thinking that it was a drumstick.

My stomach feels even worse now after my accidental consumption of the poor bunny. I've got to be more disciplined now at work like gotta work from 9.30am - 6.30pm everyday as I have a new and interesting assignment to handle, shall reveal when the time is right. Its really something new and an eye-opener for me, hopefully I won't screw it up.

This Saturday is my BIRTHDAY for your information so yeap. Just stating this only, not as if I'm hinting to anyone about receiving any gifts or anything....HEHEHE! I don't mind though.

Recently I've been doing alot of running and like doing basic exercise like crunches, pull ups, push ups and squats for like almost every other day. Been quite satisfied with myself though as I've never been so like consistent with my fitness. My body is getting into shape I think... 'I think' yea not boasting haha!

Today didn't run as I did it yesterday and almost sprained my foot hopping over a curb at a point of turning... just imagine what if I do sprain it, I can't run for at least a week and it'll push my regime back by a week. I know its kind of like a rush right now to race through my fitness level and train up, but I least I'm making an effort and not thinking that it's too late.

Fitness aside, the quotes on my facebook are of my own originality, if you've seen something similar elsewhere, I guess its just plainly coincidental alright. I know I dont look bright enough to come up with quotes, but please, I'm capable of thinking one or two at times.

Next Saturday is the day to mark my 19th year in this world, commemorating the hundreds of thousands of dollars which my family especially both my mom and dad had spent on me. And for this birthday, they might have to spend more haha!

Night review

A fine but lazy Sunday indeed. Woke up at 2.30pm, dozed off again and waking up for my run and all, what a day, although relaxed being at home almost the entire time but of course contradictorily kinda tired from the work out and late night though.

Last night was good, a change of menu once again for the highly on demand Barbecue. We had Cajun seasoned-prawns on the grill, the best and the highlight of the barbecue and Shishamo (pregnant fish) although it wasn't that popular and to most people's liking. But the prawns was definitely a hit! Everyone loved it as it was marinated by yours truly heheheh! Don't have a picture of it though as I always forget to snap some pictures of the course of everything most of the time, I promise I'll do it the next time round alright. But I did took a short video though hehe.

As our loved beer (Summit Beer) was sold out, we had no choice but to get a more expensive alternative, Sapporo! Amazingly yesterday was a sober night for me, I just had 2 cans, felt bloated and all already so discontinued further. We had a bottle of whisky but no one carried on and so I took it back. We must finish it the next time round yea.

I can't wait for Genting. Been saying it over and over again but it's really killing me! It used to be like, awwww there's still 2 more months to go (we grumbled) and now its like just 3 weeks more to go! So excited and enticing! The thought of it just makes me drop my worries and unhappiness everytime haha.

Guess what was on my mind the entire morning? If you've noticed my facebook status, that's a hint. I'm extremely curious about how I'd look when I'm bald. Ugly because my head is not perfectly rounded? Nice as its neat and clean? Wah!! The though of it just kept flashing across my mind. You may think that I might as well shave it now and answer my own dilemma right but look, what if it's ugly? I have parties to attend, vacation and activities to do, what if I look sadly ugly in my pictures. You see, I think too much, giving myself unnecessary stress. I feel that I've aged alot though, I'm putting on weight as my metabolism slowed down which shows that stress is partly contributing to this. Oh well, at least I'm putting on weight rather than losing, I will look drastic if I lose weight from my previous stature.

Two days at work without my colleagues at my side, kinda quiet though, one left for Pulau Redang (Damn fucking shiok!) and the other had taken medical leave for 3 days. So gotta settle my lunch soon all by myself :( It's alright, gotta toughen up and not whine too much hehe.

Went for my run last night again, was not too bad and I could feel that I'm filling up my pants pretty soon which is positive as I might be gaining muscles on both of my legs but negative as I might need to get new trousers or berms if I can't fit in what I have further. Such a hassle!

Anyway, I gotta make good use of whatever time left to enjoy my life out of captivity. Plenty of stuff awaits! I have jotted down so many things to do!!

Finally Laura Tham met me! She did YOGA then we had dinner, lastly coffee with hazel. YOGA! Hehe.. Laura don't kill me yea, it's good! Healthy! Hehe

Anyway, town sucks! No matter how much money you have to afford a good ride home, you'd still can't get a cab. I tried calling and guess what, got rejected 15 times, Laura depended on her message-sending method. But our efforts were to no avail and we had to take the fucking train home! Seriously, cab drivers out there, stop complaining about not having any passengers when there are all around but yet you guys are nowhere to be seen! Reached home around 10ish close to 11? Got changed and went for my run. YES! MY RUN! Surprised? Don't be... I have no choice... The run was quite tormenting and I almost collapsed haha... But I ran for a good 21 minutes :)

Zouk... It's been a while since I last patronised you... evern since my friends' and my sister's farewell. Laura and Hazel kept persuading and asked me to get the guys to go over this weekend and stop with our own gathering like barbecues and stuff hahaha. We'll try but no promises.

Feeling the most comfortable today as I'm wearing my Bermudas to work. Haha! Had been like wearing pants and today I bent the rules for once. So casual and shiok!!!

Can't wait to actually knock off today, meeting my friends for dinner but then again, heading back for my run so gotta watch what I eat too hehe.

Remember me ranting about not receiving my enlistment letter for close to a year? I finally received it 2 days ago. The orange letter was so obvious that I was actually quite reluctant to open it. But I knew the day had been chosen and my fate was destined. I tore the slits and realised that I was posted directly into the 41st Battalion Singapore Armoured Regiment at Kranji Camp II. Not heading to Tekong. This was really a blow to me but kinda had expected it as my highest qualification to date is just my O'Levels. By the way, 10th of June 2011 is the day.

I typed 41 SAR into the google search bar, and to my astonishment, there were quite a number of forums to look at. I clicked onto them and started reading, the next thing I knew was that my tears were rolling. Many stated that it was one of the toughest unit and also the intimidating Detention Barack was also located within its vicinity. But I knew that nothing could change already. Before even searching, I called my mom, dad and grandparents, they were surprised and kinda like consoled me. I called my brother too and realised that he was of the same camp but of a different posting or some sort.

Another 60 more days and I will be in a place where its not familiar to me at all even though I belonged to the NCC during my Secondary school days. I consoled myself and put up a positive front, trying hard to not think of it but I was of no use. Went for dinner and the news of course broke out, everyone was like happy but kinda worried for me though haha. Thereafter, headed back home, got changed and went to J Bar. It was a pleasant night, talking about what I'd expect in the army, the excitement of our Genting trip. It was all good till when it was time for bed after taking a shower.

I laid on my cold bed without my blanket, pondering and harping on to the issue about army. Thinking of how I can deal with it and how to handle it positively making it a breeze for me. But it was extremely difficult to concentrate on the positive things. Had no choice but cried and slept it off.

I'm thankful to those whom were supporting me all these while. I know that NS is a must and everyone has to go through it, I know but pardon me for being too emotional as I still do need a couple of days to digest it. I will eventually, not to worry. I really miss my sister and hope she'll be back before I leave and only able to get to see her by the end of the year if she comes back after I get into the army. A quiet night previously but good enough to take a break at home and browsed through channels, finding some interesting and interactive programmes to watch. Oh yea! I love Banged Up Abroad!! This morning woke up by the annoyance of my alarm, so reluctant but had no other ways of getting income so gotta head to work as usual. I really can't wait for my vacation trips like seriously! What shall I do for my birthday this year? Hmm nothing special about turning 19 but yet it's better to have a gathering at least, can't expect me to not celebrate and treat it as if its of an ordinary day. Probably gathering at a private wine place. See how la yea.

I love black and white so much that I'm wearing my favourite black/white checkered shirt today! Just a random thought, find it lame? Fuck off..

Been thinking throughout the week what to do over this weekend... Not heading to the clubs anyway, but we've always have like plans over the weekends after planning instantaneously but yet for this week, I'm in a dilemma man.

I feel good today, waking up at 9 in the morning despite having a late chill-out drinking night previously. As usual was at Miss U Cafe till like 12.30am. Was intending to have a run yesterday but guessed should allow my whatever muscles to recover and so today shall be the day that I resume my recent regime and goal. I wanna be healthier and have a good stamina so as not to suffer in the army as you people should know I'm damn fucking lazy and I'm quite scrawny too hehe! And also to stop my family members and friends from saying that I'm lazy, body growing flabbier and not exercising at all. The best part is that my mom always nagged at me like asking me not to cry and call home during my first few months if I suffer due to my poor fitness level.

I felt the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when I started to put on my sports apparel and shoes and just headed out and jogged for 20+ minutes on Monday. But of course, it was due to my friend's encouragement and motivation too. I can't believe I did it as I've not really worked out for quite some time and had been contemplating about training up before my letter arrives. but during the process, I managed to jog non-stop at a comfortable pace except when I crossed the road, I walked.... but I panted like fuck! Almost died and even not having my mobile phone with me, if something happens, no one knows man..hahaha!

Last night was so chilled out, was like after a day of working for long hours, it was good to unwind for the night and head to work slightly later the following day, like what I did today. A bottle of wine, talk cock, quiet ambience. How I wish I can do this even alone for the rest of my life! Hahaha!

24 more days till my 19th birthday. Just imagine the excitement one has upon turning 18 and now, I'm gonna turn 19. 2010 passed so quickly although it wasn't really a smooth year. Oh well, at least I did had my fun during last year.

Hopefully Bintan on the first week of next month would be made possible, need to get a tan to look healthier but always getting burnt and the shedding of skin, then back to whiteness. Guess it will be fun as the highlight of the resort trip would be kite-boarding or some sort like it. Oh yea, and Genting on the 2nd week. Cool weather is the best for one who is as hot-headed like me. It's also time for me to get my driver's licence, had been procrastinating and pondering over the issue and hassle of getting it since my 18th birthday last year. Sucks to take the public transport when I have a car left alone when my dad seldom drives it and also my sister Amanda is studying in Melbourne...What a WASTE!

A random but interesting post I guess? Anyway, gotta head back to work as I came in late, but good enough that I can at least squeeze in quite a wordy and lengthy post aye?

A very fine day indeed. Ain't sure why but I'm definitely in my best mooddddddd. So elated and hyper today. Talked too much and probably annoyed my colleagues hehehe!

Anyway, a review about the past few days, on Saturday night, it was a fun filled gathering, laughter, beer, healthy steamboat and baccarat-drinking game. Thanks guys for coming! Really do love such sort of company/gathering over a quiet weekend without going to the clubs or whatsoever, saving up money for my vacation trips too.

Although I may seem to be happy out of the blue, several cases or news had made me realised what a shady and sad world I'm residing in, such as the news about a young girl who was pinned under a train and a disgusting and heartless mother who pimps her own daughter. So saddening but what to do? Anyway, there's actually nothing much to share for today, so I'll leave it as it is and probably post something later...oh yea, regarding about my autobiography posts, I shall stop for a moment. No particular reasons at all. Don't ask, won't tell :)

Night review

Been a quiet week till last night. Ku De Ta was fantastic with panoramic views (you guys should know about it since it has been widely publicised and also has received much more compliments than other iconic buildings, sculptures or whatsoever which is what I thought) and of course excellent service (even someone to escort you to the washroom) Oops! Not boasting about this special treatment but this is what you get when you're at the VIP members' section unlike it in Zouk whereby what will greet you is the squeezy access to the toilet with puke all over. Thanks to Busera for the invite, a very good host and a good friend to remember, guess she's preparing for her departure back to Brunei at this moment. Not forgetting about the drinks, argh! Had too much and was smashed before reaching home. All of us were tipsy and security personnels of Ku De Ta were nice enough to escort us all the way to the cab stand. A bottle of Dom P, 2 bottles of Apple shooters (err, will stop drinking this as its kinda sick after having too many), a pint of beer and a larger than normal Moet. Shared among just the 4 of us. . Its a really nice place to chill but one thing, you gotta sit at the VIP members area because the outside the barricaded area...its really fucking crowded and I don't really like it when you're chilling with drinks unless if its a club when its like BO BIAN and you gotta stand.

We were there at 10.30pm and left at 3am... I was so fucking tired but still headed to work today so as you know hehe.

Hopefully they can come back for my birthday end of next month though. I've always been curious about Brunei but no chance for me eh. Hopefully I can drop by and tour around there as I heard its a beautiful country!

Anyway, shall abstain from going to the clubs or rowdy places for the time being. Reason? Ain't gonna tell you!

Today was like kinda a rough day for me, my arm and back still hurts but I told my dad that it's much better. Reason being that I'm too afraid to visit a Chinese Physician as I'm afraid he/she will like punish me with the massage and herbal bandage. But I do know that going to a General Practitioner is useless as they don't like get to the point and like ease your pain immediately but just passing you a tube of counterpain I think. Hiyah, hopefully it'll get better. Oh yea, was having a hungover too.... I still felt the substantial amount of alcohol I consumed in me which till this moment, my body has yet to detox fully. The last time I drank with them was 2 years ago in UK, its was fucking mad too.

I know it has been days since I blogged and I totally forgot about my Autobiography's post for this week. I will produce a longer post this weekend I promise.

Can't wait for Shabu Shabu this weekend! I need to have a healthy but sumptuous feast for once this week and guess what, I have the intention not to drink at all till next week for your information heheheeh. Let's see how I fare :)

What a long night yesterday. 3 large bottles and 3 towers of beer. Intoxication makes everything seemed damn fucking long and draggy.

Need to work alot to earn more. Having some financial crisis man! Haha! Cut down on shopping but yet still going broke towards the end of the month..

Here's a penny of my thoughts. Be it someone you care, family, friends, siblings, parents, foes, pals.... the care and concern for/from every individual is totally different. I've been through quite enough to understand that the unconditional care, love or whatever from anyone around you has a certain weightage and value. Like it depends on who is closer and deserve it. So do cherish and protect those whom are deemed as the very close one be it your siblings, mother, father or anyone whom are of the closest. Just a random thought, if its hard to decipher, then forget it, only I myself know what I'm thinking of..hehe!

Anyway, it'll be a quiet and chilly Sunday, unwinding at home and looking forward for better days to come like vacation trips, no worries about money of course haha... and many more.

People at times think that I'm reckless, childish, rude, irresponsible, arrogant, proud, aloof, gayish vibes, straight-forward, hot-tempered, sharp tongued or whatever it may be... You guys don't know where I'm coming from at all and don't understand me at all so please don't jump upon any conclusions about my character. (Just another random thought so as to let you people know) I know myself better and at times yes I do feel so too but it derives from the environment, what I'm going through and also to people whom I do not know at all or people whom do not know me at all.

I know its a long post and some random bullshit but I seriously don't have any events to share at the moment so do bear with me yea :)

Feel exhausted and listless today although I went back early yesterday at 11-ish from Kallang Food centre. Ain't sure why I didn't have the stamina to drink much, most of the time 3 large bottles of beer is rather quite normal quantities for a typical day but I drank less than 2 bottles yesterday. Felt like regurgitating every time when I gulp it. I'm trying to cut down on beer as I'm putting on weight around my tummy area...yucks!

I'm so bored at work right now that I might swallow the diamonds and papers just to choke myself! I woke up early today though, just couldn't sleep.. Had congee for breakfast but my appetite was ruined by the thought of work today. It's not as if I don't have any work to do, I have tons of it in fact but just imagine staring at the computer screen from 10 in the morning till 6... BO BIAN! Gotta earn a living while waiting for my stupid enlistment letter.

Wanna go to Melbourne but my financial situation can't get me there... oh well... psychoing my parents would be a tedious task.. HIYAH!

Anyway gonna head back to work and rush whatever I can to try and complete it... wish me luck and not doze off in front of the computer.

Autobiography (III)

Kinda miss those days donning my uniform, waking up at 5.30 in the morning, taking a shower with my eyes close and also having thoughts of how I can come up with a reason to skip school. For some reason, I felt that I kinda received better treatments from my teachers although I'm a rascal in school like confronting the teachers whom I deemed unreasonable and the occasional walking out of class when I got pissed with the teacher, seems normal for any teenage school boy but somehow kinda like got unpunished always. All the teachers were fine except for one fucking asshole who confiscated my Xperia phone on the day of my birthday during the examination period. Not as if I used it during my paper.... I spoke on the phone during my break time and bumped into him outside the designated area to use it which is outside the canteen... How exciting it was aye? And he was such a pain in the ass by refusing to answer my dad's calls as both my parents were busy and couldn't drop by and collect my phone. My hot headed character is of the same as my dad and so you should know how fucking furious he was. He drove all the way from Takashimaya and made a big hoo-haa in the general office. Yay! Hail Daddy! Everyone in the office just kept quiet and listened to my dad and the fucking numb skull daren't show up... Such a douche.. Anyway enough of him, just a low-life imbecile.

My mathematics was very weak but managed to pull through scoring ace which even enabled me to take up the O'level paper during my N'levels. It was a disappointment that I got a C6 though, just imagine how difficult it was to juggle both syllabuses within a year. But I still manage to do well for it in the following year.

Being in the polytechnic definitely gave me the much freedom everyone sought after. Own style of dressing, any kinds of hairdo and using your mobile phone FREELY! (Get that you son of a *****!)
I got into Electronics, Computer and Communications Engineering. Doesn't sound that enticing, its true. I aspired to be a pilot since young and so chose this course of study which kinda like coincides with like engineering and all that shit and also that I didn't score that well for my O'levels too. Unfortunately, it was tedious, challenging and my aspirations drifted to being something else. So I withdrew from my studies at the polytechnic although I've gotten quite a good grade for my GPA of a rough estimate from my tests and all. Oh well, undergone nagging from family, friends and people concerned about my future but whats done has been done, so no point crying over spilled milk alright.

Wanted to get into Interior designing at certain institutions but the intake wasn't in favour for me. So had to request for my enlistment into the army. Have been bumming since June last year and also did my medical screening in July, but look at the time of the year right now... shall just enjoy my days right now, enlist, come out and back to studying again :)

These days the weather has been gloomy, which kinda coincides with my mood too. Oh well, I just need to take things easy, and think of how to be of a better 19 year old adult. At times, I'm acting like I'm 9, I just feel insecure and paranoid about every single stuff in my life, family, friends, education, work, NS and all kinds of stuff evolving around me which are more complicated than it seems to be.

Anyway, I'll be better and grow up :) Life is tough but there are people much more jia lat than I am.

An impromptu barbecue last night was good. I know I know...boring right? Barbecue..barbecue...haha, gonna have like cancer soon if we do this every weekend. But just can't help it, great food, tons of drinks and great company. We had rib-eye, real fresh beef burger and huge portobellos this time round. Sheng siong and the normal Fairprice sucks unlike Colds Storage... I got whatever I could find at sheng siong then proceeded to my dad's place.... I walked out from the condo and walked alllllllll thhhhheeeeeeee wayyyyyyyyy to Chancery's Colds Storage....and then walked alllllll thhhhheeeeee wayyyyyyyyy back. It was sunny and drizzling all the way which made the situation worse. But its ok, I'm the host, so gotta make sure that great hospitality is there hehe.

Night review

I feel exhausted these days, but all I did was just waking up in the morning for work, a 40-minute bus ride to work, close to 8 hours of work in the office then back home or meet my friends and close ones. Maybe its my body, I don't know... I need to take more vitamins and supplements as I'm damn fucking young uh, shouldn't be experiencing this problem.

Oh well, I love spending time with my friends and loved ones. How I wish its a full time job but not impossible though. Today I ate too much for your information, need to watch my diet as even though I'm lean, if I'm not cautious enough, I might end up with health problems and putting on unhealthy weight as I don't exercise at all so as to speak.

I wanna head to my grand's place tomorrow for dinner. Miss them so much but just couldn't find the proper time as I end off work in the late afternoon and the journey back home is so time consuming that at times, I can only have late dinner. If I can't make it, the best is lunch during the weekends. Nothing beats my granny's home-cooked dishes.

I miss durian, pizza, ice-kachang, churros, oysters, steak, suckling pig, shark's fin and all sorts of rich food! Urghh! So frustrating at times when I can't get what I want to eat.

Anyone has any suggestions for any nice Bossa Nova hits? I love this kind of genre of music and do appreciate it alot. Was thinking what shall I do over the weekend with my bro but just couldn't think of any..haha...I'm broke! Can't spend like the past already! Hiyah... so sad :( But Bossa Nova hits lightens up my mood though (I'm listening to it right now hehe!).

Alright, I'm gonna hit the sack soon and will post much more interesting stuff over time.... BECAUSE 'someone' said that my blog is quite boring and lack flavouring and all.... Don't mock, laugh, despise, irritate or do whatever it takes just to ridicule me about the fact where I'm gonna reveal which is that today is the first day in my life whereby I learnt how to download songs into iTunes and autofill it into my iPhone...hehe! Stop it! I know your faces in front of the computer ok you suckers..heehee!

Anyway, at the last part, you'll see a video of my furry little brother yea. He does know how to listen to commands ok although he's a kitty cat.

I'm feeling bored and restless as ever, I need a vacation trip to rejuvenate myself but the problem is that I'm broke and have no sponsors.... any sponsors out there? I'm a person who wont waste such a sponsored opportunity as I do know how to enjoy and value my vacations ok! Hiyah, just wanna leave and have a shiok trip before doing my duty for my country... which reminds me they take forever just to finalise my confirmation date! Although I've waited for 8 months already, its still comparable to the angry parent of a young boy whom waited longer then me and even raised the issue on Straits Times' Forum if you did read it. Oh well, although I'm complaining that its wasting my time like waiting and shit, but deep in my heart, I'm so reluctant to go :( Oh well, no other alternatives right? Gotta face it, get it over and done with right? KNS!

Can't wait for my house to be revamped! Kitchen, dining area, family room, balcony, stairs and all bedrooms will be done up! I saw the design plan for my room and I'm not too pleased about it, looks funny so I spoke to my mom and she agreed on getting the designer to revise the plans! Yay!!! I want a mini walk-in wardrobe!! Told my mom that and she rolled her eyes and continued watching TV...hahah The only thing bothering me is that the renovation takes approximately a month to complete... I could be in the army or maybe not... and also have yet to finalise where we will reside during that period of time.

I've been putting on weight if you did notice from my pictures, collarbone disappearing and cheek bone diminishing under a layer of fat.. my waistline has gone from a perfect 28 to 30. My weight at the end of 2009 was 49-50 and its 62-63 now, many says that I look better and I do feel so too but I can't fit into a fraction of my clothes already... how saddening aye but what to dooooo, no money, can't go shopping... sucks big time. I'm gonna work hard and work like 9 hours a day for 5 days a week even when I have a privileged flexible working time frame.

Hope you guys enjoyed my Autobiography (II). Kept on forgetting to mention about the Barbecue on Saturday. It was enjoyable and once again a madly smashed night. There were too much food, a sumptuous feast I would say, from barbecued food to Vicnes mother's curry and my grandmother's Pohpiah. Not forgetting our highlight for the night, HAMBURGERS! Sedap!!! Although the only patties we got was frozen from FARMLAND but still it tasted good righttttt guys?? Shall get the fresh patties the next round. We didn't really get to swim as the fucking security guard was abiding the condominiums's rule of ending off everything at 10pm and not being flexible for the very first time that night. What a spoiler! So ungrateful from the food and booze we offered to him. Shall let him eat the bits and pieces of the leftovers next time....haha! Anyway its was an early night too, left about 1.30 in the morning.

Went home early from work yesterday as had to fix a new fan my mom bought. It was the latest bladeless fan. Looks like the sleekest thing ever seriously. How I wish I would be able to remember to take a picture of anything I mentioned specifically but I keep on forgetting....like the Burger and the Fan... I'll do that another time hehe..

Autobiography (II)

Have been residing at Bedok South for about half of my life. Love the area and surrounding so much. Peaceful, clean, serene and many more words can describe this place. Although the inconvenience is that, the train station is freaking far away but who gives a fuck as I hate taking the train. But there are definitely quite a number of buses heading to town and all so not too bad though. At least my neighbourhood doesn't have like school-kids loitering around and creating shit around my area.

My results were definitely different from students scoring aces and so I'm always at home on most afternoons having tuition. Talking about it, I'm always finding excuses to lie to my tutors about being sick and having shit in school so as to postpone it, so I'm actually guilty of my results in school. I definitely did not score aces except for my Math but still I'm able to get in to Nanyang Polytechnic for your information although I do know that the course I was in and the school I'm in was not of the best but yet its still being eligible to attain a diploma cert ya know! Tuition fees added up to so much money but yet I was of a failure of not attaining better results which my parents, tutors and school teachers had expected. Oh well, at least I've completed every young kids' nightmare, Primary 4 Streaming examinations, PSLE, GCE-N Levels & lastly my shitty GCE- O Levels so fuck it.

Secondary school was rather quite tough for me though as I was bullied in my junior years in school, not that bad la but eventually, I did the bullying towards the later part of it haha! I hate the school uniform and all teachers and whoever it is from the school, please speak the truth and say that it's hideous and stop saying that it's unique and all that crap you tasteless people. I even dread going to Tampines Mall after school with my uniform as it was crappy, sucky, disgusting and ugly! But I survived wearing it for the 5 years.

How I wish I was from a Prestigious Boys School soooooo damn badly. How sad is it aye! I detest outsiders asking me which school am I from and all, please, get a life, its none of your concern and I was also stupid enough to reveal and ridicule myself...

I can't imagine how I survived with my meagre pocket money but traveling to school to and fro by cab almost everyday and now even when I do take the bus, I'm still broke! How fascinating huh.. Oh well, actually its caused by my extravagant spending on food, coffee, alcohol and awesome stuff people like myself would do..hehe

I managed to get out of prison from my 5 years sentence and enjoyed my freedom for close to 5 months at least before I went into a upgraded environment...

I shall continue the rest this Sunday, sorry for the delay as I totally forgot about it yesterday hehe...

Alright, I shall stop procrastinating about my mini Autobiography postings, I shall make it a point to post it every SUNDAY alright.

Back at work, my accountant colleague is extremely nice buying me breakfast almost everyday when I come in. Shall buy her a good meal but not at the moment though as you know I'm a ~~pauper~~ now so gotta wait till my next pay check which reminds me I gotta save up a substantial amount too, lots of debts to clear and do wanna settle my travels hehe.

Finished work yesterday and had dinner, thereafter headed to Old Airport Food Centre to have 4 large bottles of beer at an extremely affordable price... There's like a promotion going on and 3 large bottles of Tiger cost us only $13... tell me about it aye... Where the hell can you find such a cheap beer pricing eh.

Since I'm using my office's lappy, shall upload some pictures tonight yea.

Can't wait for the Barbecue this coming Saturday!!!!! Hamburger!!!!!!!

I wanna go back to Helipad and Zouk badly...Haven't been there ever since my sister's farewell before she left for Melbourne which is like a month already for your information. Friends, let's go there next Saturday yea!!

Back to work and tummy still feeling queasy though.

Just got back from Genting on Sunday and got a call from a friend today to accompany him to KL in 2 weeks time for a business meeting. Hmm, budget a little tight eh... See how it goes by then hehe

Does anyone know how to go about kite-surfing or kite-gliding or whatever it is called? I might be heading to Bintan over the Good Friday long weekend to do it, how thrilling! Can't wait to head to the beach and tan my 'white' coloured skin tone.

I wanna head to Melbourne to visit my sister and friends in May, who is willing to sponsor my ticket there? I miss her and I'm enlisting soon probably in June so wanna head to Australia (never been to any parts before)!!! Wanna enjoy the cold weather there too!

Having yet another barbecue this weekend again... ahhaha... don't be irritated about it alright, its really fun, wait till when you're in it and you'll know what it is about and want to do it every weekend OK!! It'll be hamburger with barbecued beef patty (yummmmy!). No more Summit Beer left and based on our record from our last 2 sessions of the barbecue, we drank 3 cartons already which is 72 bottles containing 500ml each..So guess we'll just get 1 or 2 cartons of Tiger instead..

Genting trip 2011

It was a good trip up high in the 'alps'
of Malaysia.
The weather was chilly in the morning
and night while warm and
comfortable in the day.
Its been a year and 3 months
since my last visit to Genting.
Miss those days with my school buddies.

This was at 5.30 in the morning when all entertainment, restaurants and coffee houses are still closed except for this place.

Good food, company but not too awesome crowd in Genting though haha except for one night when we went to a club called Safari if you've heard of it. It was quiet with a live band playing but at every intervals of half an hour, the DJ starts playing his shit and all I can say is that, its good! Crowds started to pour in and within an hour after the live band had packed up, the club was packed! I dare to say that 70% of the crowd there can dance better than those in Singapore. I was taken aback like seriously! Here's 2 evidence to shut you guys up if you want to beg to differ my comment!

This shows how interesting Genting can be high up in the mountains and its not only meant for gamblers, these people really do know how to have hell lot of fun themselves. Oh yea, the booze is expensive so there's no way of making yourself high and all outside the club then get in...its all the same in Genting.

Made reservations at Imperial Nanbei Restaurant for dinner tonight with my Church friends. We grew up together as was baptised together since was brought to Church before I turned 1 I think with most of them but over the years after growing up, my relationship with them have drifted apart. I do feel guilty on my part the most as I seldom head to Church for my Sunday youth service and it has already been close to half a year. My absence from Church did not prevent them from contacting me and keeping in touch with me. Still do remember those days when I was very enthusiastic about Sunday school, even joined the choir with my horrible voice and signing up for Church camps at any point of time organised. It's hard for me to absorb in Church too as I'm attending the Mandarin service (surprising for many I'm sure). Although I've been in it since I was a baby, it's still a challenge for me to understand totally about what the pastor is preaching as I'm very weak in my Chinese that I was sentenced to learning Basic Chinese or you can call it Chinese B by my Chinese teacher in school. He just gave me a form to sign up and said I was hopeless and need to start from the basic. So the other alternative was that I had gotten a Bible with both Mandarin and English in it. Oh well, I will really try to make an effort to go to Church.

Gonna walk all the way to Far East Plaza from Takashimaya for lunch with my colleagues...how far is that, sure perspire like fuck but its ok, plenty of food choices available hehe.

Last night was a quiet night, no one called to get me out of the house for movie or drinks or whatsoever and so I was just using my computer and also ransacking my kitchen for food to munch on. Gotta stop as I can no longer put on 50% of my clothes already, especially my bottoms.

Oh well, gotta head back to work

Back at work and still feeling lethargic even after sleeping for 6hours++.

Mom nagged about my bottoms hanging at the back of my bedroom door. I have about 7 pants and 3 Bermudas, some which I no longer able to fit in as my waistline has increased. Anyway, she scolded me and wanted to throw my bottoms away if I don't get the maid to wash or clear them...saying that it breeds bacteria and mosquitoes. Hiyah... true but she doesn't know that certain good quality jeans right, you don't have to wash them that often as it ruins the shape and colour of the jeans. But too bad, I had no choice but to clear them all and send them to the machine.

I'm glad that my beer belly has shrunk a little even after drinking beer lately... weird and I can call it a blessing actually as I look out of shape lately in my clothes and people have been 'complimenting' that I put on weight and look healthier than in the past as I was scrawny and frail-looking hehe..

Anyway gonna head back to work and head for lunch soon as I'm damn fucking hungry!

This is my friend's comic web page, his comic strips are sketched by himself which shows the creativity and humour behind this guy. I've never been interested in any comics before although I do read Archie and Lao Fu Zi when I was much much younger or getting Archie at Times News Link at the airport before my flights. Till recently when my friend Boston created this, it really entices me looking forward for every strip he draws which will be updated every TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS & SATURDAYS. It's really interesting and Boston is really talented in doing this as even in real life, he's really as interesting as how his comics are (in a positive way of course). I'm thankful for the advices of people supporting me to get into the army. But there is no reason at all to keep reminding me that its 2 years and I should get it over and done with as the fact is that, its not my choice to choose whatever date to be enlisted for fuck sake. You guys think I do not want to get in and think that I'm wasting my time? I'm sorry to say, I don't belong to the MINDEF and cant suka suka anyhow enlist myself into it as soon as possible. Having said these, I hope the sincere and good gestures of you guys will somehow be logical to me as I do know that 2 years in the army lags myself behind others, so just leave it to the right people to say when I should be enlisted.

I guess I need botox on my forehead, realised alot of people including family noticed that I'm always frowning... I do notice it too even when I'm brushing my teeth, maybe its the ongoing stress and turmoil over the years which has resulted to this. Now I think people wants me to have a stiff forehead like Nicole Kidman..haha

Oh yea, regarding about the barbecue on Saturday, it was fantastic and I was too intoxicated to remember most of what had happened towards the end haha.. But I will upload the pictures soon in my next post and also will do a review of a comic web page my good friend has created.

I will be out of town too, leaving this week on the night of Thursday and will be back on Sunday evening. So wait till I'm back to give you all more doses of my world but of course at the mean time, there's still Tuesday, Wednesday and early part of Thursday to view my blog before I leave.... I could be heading to Hong Kong, "could be" heading when I come back on Sunday then might catch a night flight and be back on Tuesday....Mom says see howwww...

Got a shock from Mom, she came in to my room and said that I'm working and should pay my own phone bill which cost <$100 for this month, I was like HUH!!!! Then I told her to postpone it to next month...how sad aye.... always towards the end of the month, she's full of surprises for her one and only son when he's about to get his meagre pay... what a smart and calculative career women.

The long anticipated day has arrive!

Lost of sleep due to the excitement of today, drunken and smoky night I can call it! The weather is freaking humid and the sun is scorching hot which tells me that, it'll be a perfect day to swim and barbecue all day long.

My maid helped me with the chicken curry and bee hoon today...yummy!

Can't wait for another long awaited barbecue planned a week after our previous one. We actually planned last week on the day of the first barbecue itself. How swift was the arrangement aye!

Time flashes by at the blink of an eye as the days go by, week after another and month by month...who knows when I could be in the army and serving my duty already.

I'm totally lagged behind the movies, last one was a Chinese horror/comedy by Mark Lee... Shocked for many but its true. I really wanna catch up with the new ones but no 'kaki'. Like seriously I've been quite busy with work and pre-plans, but when I'm free and am able to catch a movie, its either an inappropriate timing or no one wants to accompany me like what the fuck... Oh well, how I wish I can be more diligent and take the initiative to just get one ticket and watch all by myself. Maybe a movie marathon :) Soon soon! To all ungrateful friends and people out there, you guys gave me no choice but to think of this ridiculous, silly, lonely and uninteresting idea so a big THANK YOU to all!

Can't wait for tomorrow! I'll be lonely once again hours before the commencement of the barbecue tomorrow evening. So guess I'm just gonna swim all by myself, soak up some sun....smoke and have a drink as if I'm in a resort but the fact is that, its all bullshit but of course I will still swim la and chill all alone!

Hoped you guys love my first part of my Autobiography. It's really based on my true life so as you know. I will try and write more about it over time, so be patient alright.

Anyway now at work, yesterday after knocking off, met my bro, had dinner and then lastly chilled out at Miss U Cafe at No.14 Jalan Burong, along Upper Changi Road right after Bedok Simpang. A nice chill out joint and relaxing ambience. They have quite a good selection of wines and a wide variety of food to order. The wine prices, well all I can say is that it's really affordable. A bottle of Merlot from Chile just cost $30++ whereas at some places, a bottle of Linderman from Australia costs $60++ which is way too overpriced. Most importantly, it closes at 11.30pm but yet they still do allow their patrons to stay up to whenever time they want as they'll leave the chairs and tables outside. Great to smoke and sip some wine after a long and hectic day at work or whatever you're doing.

Reached home and felt a little depressed though, house was quiet as you know both my dad and sis are not around, mom was out of town for business too. All I could do was shower and lie on my bed pondering about everything that is going on, family, friends, army and some other stuff. Although this is the negative part towards the end of the night, I wont deny that I really had a great time at Miss U Cafe having wine, talking cock and of course having a serious conversation too.

Oh well, gotta head back to work, shall set the negativity of everything aside and concentrate on what I'm currently doing right now.

Autobiography (I)

Something about myself

Born and 'bred' at my maternal grandparent's place since being carried out of the hospital after birth.
Mom did her confinement at my grand's, when it was over, she went back to her work. Dad had his own hair salon (unbelievable but its true) at International Plaza called "Jason & Gary". Didn't go to playschool and of a certain age, was enrolled into the government's kindergarten by my grandmother. I really love her so much. She queued for hours just to get me enrolled into this 'kurap' child-torturing place. I cant really recall much about my pre-schooling days except for the part whereby I'm always staring outside the window waiting for my grandmother to receive me home from school. I grew up in the heartlands and its the usual HDB-block catching, roller-blading under the void-decks and so on...

Eventually, my mom had gotten a domestic helper to ease the duties of my grandmother. I attended primary school and shifted to a Maisonette which I still resides in at Bedok South near Kew Drive. It is a very quiet, clean and serene neighbourhood. Although I've shifted, I still know where my roots were from. Everyday without fail, I will head to my grand's place and have lunch and spend time with them. At this point of time although I've grown up, busy with work and with my own personal life, I still make an effort to head to my grand's every now and then, if not, I will give them a phone call and ask if they've eaten and things like that. At times I really do feel guilty that I have so much time and always meet up with my friends but not head to my grand's for a meal or whatsoever. Don't worry, I will do better and see them more often as I love them so so much.

Was suppose to have some drinks at 1 Twenty Six at Big Splash last night (Upon Laura Tham's request and my suggestion of venue), but wasn't successful as Ms Tham was deep asleep, whatsapping and calling came to no use at all for the 3-4 hours I was trying to get to her. Haha, left Marcus and myself stranded and stayed home with no plans at all. So we decided to trick her by telling her that we waited for her at the bottom of her apartment and left at the end. Just whatsapped her about this though, but have yet to get her reply. Marcus intention was to make her guilty...haha, good one! Just a random information about last night..

Its been a couple of days since my first post, hope everyone is interested and showing support to my blog :) Its really interesting if you talk about shit for some time and in the future, review back and laugh about it.

Anyway, I gotta head back to work now..

Unconscious night of great food, drinks and company

30 odd bottles of Summit Beer with a volume of 500ml per bottle and contains 5% of alcohol, 3 bottles of red wine..Shared among 8 people is not a joke at all. Its unbelievable but we did that and survived it. No cases of anyone regurgitating or whatsoever. In fact, everyone had their equal share of fun and enjoyment.

We were glad that although we made loud plunges by jumping into the pool, continued grilling the food and the music we played from my X-Mini speaker, no one complained and we managed to have fun till 3 am by the poolside. We had to actually pack up and leave by 10, the security didn't interrupt our fun so it was a reason why we could stay on for like an additional of 5 hours.

Anyway, we had a sumptuous feast, portobello, steak, crab meat, sausages, wings.

Fun and laughter was the call of the day. Never had such a wonderful night spent with friends for quite some time. Thank you guys for making this happen, without your contribution (monetary terms) and your presence, this gathering would not have been successful. Anyway if you guys are reading this, please remember next Saturday 26th February, same place, 5pm, please bring your towels and board shorts or whatsoever... Menu for the day is Bee Hoon and Chicken Curry, plus our remaining 20 bottles of beer! Call me to RSVP or anything..

Before my sleeping pills take effect

Working has made me more sensible in terms of what I earn is what I spend(not sure if it sounds logical). I've learnt the value of money as I no longer depend on my allowances because I don't receive them anymore so as you know. Although I've learnt that, its still back to square one whereby when it comes close to an end of the month, I'm always broke. Of course I do realise that most of my money is spent on food, coffee, cab and other ways. I've been more frugal these days as I take a bus to work, to and fro without fail. Hard to believe for those who knows me well enough, but its true. I'm trying to save but its difficult as I'm so used to staying out of home which in a sense [staying outside of home = spending money] if you guys get what I'm trying to express.

I love people around me when I'm of high spirits and I dislike staying at home as its relatively quiet. But I do enjoy moments whereby I'm alone at home to ponder and just do nothing at all with no one around me...PEACE is the word.

I don't know why I'm talking crap now at this time but well, just wanna waste some 10 minutes or so before turning in. By the way, can't wait for the barbecue tomorrow, not any special occasion to rejoice about but just a simple, drunken ed and wonderful night with great company to put it in another way...

A Friday to end off my working days for the week

Woke up feeling fresher than usual as my cough which had been bothering me for 4 weeks had finally shown progress from the eeky sweet black cough mixture consumed thrice a day....Yucks! (Although it makes you sleep better)

Was at CMPB earlier on to check my enlistment date...as I've said from my very first post, I've been bumming since my medical screening last July. Decided to make my way down with dad to clarify and make an enquiry only to realise that its still pending but at least they gave me a hint whereby I'll definitely be enlisted either in March or June. Fuck! Did I mention March? Its next month for heaven's sake! Its scary but oh well...arghhh! I'm so unfit and unprepared you see, that explains my paranoia and negativity towards it. Whats more, I have friends whom shared their experiences to me..good and bad, but I only concentrated on the bad side and see what had happened to me? My balls shrunk..sad aye??

Went to collect my 2 cases of beer earlier for my barbecue gathering tomorrow which I organised and procrastinated since last year even before I went to Japan on the 16th of December...FINALLY its happening!

A very special beer from my mom's ex-company. The only plastic bottled beer in South East Asia you know! Can't finish consuming? All you do is just cap it back on and leave it in the fridge for prolonged freshness. Wanna know more, firstly, get to know me first and once you have my contacts...then we shall see from there!

Anyway, I'm so excited for the barbecue! It'll be steak, salad, wine and tons of beer! Am salivating right now!!

Anyway, I gotta head back to work!

Welcome everyone to my first humble entry

This is my first entry since June 2009.

I've been contemplating whether should I start once again anot. But oh well, started already since you guys are reading this now.

Since its my first entry, shan't talk about what had happened today, anyway its just an ordinary day but still at least I did manage to clear some disputes or I'd say doubts.

I'm currently waiting for my enlistment date into the army since I've decided to withdraw from NYP last year and even did my medical in July. Look at the time of the year now, its already coming close to an end of February but yet no news no nothing from MINDEF...
I should count it both as a blessing and misfortune.
Blessing whereby I've been bumming too much, drinking, smoking, partying, working, go broke, coffee, travelling, shopping and not exercising for the past 6 or 7 months! Oops! Did I mention smoking?
So unfortunately, I've wasted plenty of time as I did not complete my Diploma and am now left with just my O Levels...how sad is that for a 19 year old. But I'm glad 2010 had passed as it was quite a rough year for me...

Now since its still kinda like the beginning of this year, everything has been turning out smoothly. Although dad had moved out due to the divorce, my sister Amanda too left for Melbourne for her studies (but will be back in June or July la), mom getting extremely busy with work and keeps on traveling like a SQ stewardess and also friends leaving for their studies overseas....I'm not so lonely after all as I have the best, trustworthy, caring, helpful, thoughtful and all kinds of good words that can describe my friend or you can call him brother like I do in my life since last year actually and of course my younger sister who I need to spend time to care, nurture and discipline!

I really do hope that I'm disciplined enough to give you guys enough dose of my world every now and then, and definitely not abandon my blog online like I've done twice already.
